Kaila specializes in trauma, parent coaching, and high-acuity mental health care. She brings warmth, humor, and real-life experience to her work, both in the therapy room and behind the mic. She is passionate about creating therapeutic spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow in ways that feel authentic to them.

Outside of therapy and podcasting, Kaila finds joy in being a mom to her young son and caring for her two rescue dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time in nature, and cherishing meaningful moments with her family.

Psychiatrist & Psychotherapist

Dr. Sir Melancon is a board-certified psychiatrist who believes deeply in the integration of mind and body. With years of experience working in locked hospital units, street/community treatment, and on the therapy couch, his work bridges neuroscience, medication management, and trauma-informed care.

Known for his calm presence and thoughtful insight, Sir brings a grounded and accessible perspective to mental health—one that respects both the science and the soul. He’s passionate about education, collaborative care, and helping people find clarity in complexity.

When he’s not practicing medicine or podcasting, you’ll find him reading, walking his dogs, and finding the sill moments of life.
